Image2010 marks the 75th Anniversary of the Blue Ridge Parkway. Join an
extraordinary journey through the stories of this remarkable route and
the region through which it passes. Discover the opportunities the 75th
Anniversary presents! This yearlong celebration will include events all
along the 469-miles of the parkway, from Virginia to North Carolina.

television host and entertainer, Asheville’s own David Holt is a
national folk icon dedicated to performing and preserving traditional

On Saturday, May 15, 2010, Asheville, NC will play host to
Fanaticon, a convention for fans of comic books, science-fiction,
fantasy, gaming and collectibles. The event will take place at the
Asheville Art Museum and will feature local comic book vendors,
artists, panel discussions, costume contests and special guests from
the comic book industry. Fanaticon is suitable for the whole family.
